The Pearl External Case Family of stand-alone expansion chassis provides rugged and reliable housing for SCSI storage devices. This line of storage enclosures is available in various versions, supporting 3.5" and 5.25" form factor, full or half-height devices, including MACASE's Mobile Rack Pearl MR-10 receiving frame and carriers. MACASE posses a full line of external drive enclosures from single bay to fourteen bay (multiple storage drive enclosures). All interface types are available, as well : SCSI-1,SCSI-2,WIDE SCSI, IDE to PARALLEL and so on. Each PEARL External Case is constructed of the most durable materials available and appropriate for the specific External Case model (materials include steel, aluminum, or metal-shielded plastic). Each chassis has a power-on LED indicator, and contains one or more highly-rated, enhanced power supply(s) and cooling fan(s). Various external SCSI connections, including 50-pin and 68-pin, SCSI, SCSI-2, and SCSI-3, are available.
